Full-day bird walk at Holme Dunes NWT Reserve
Holme Dunes NWT Reserve (TF 714449) just n.e. of Hunstanton, covering beach, dunes, scrub, scrapes, pines and marsh habitats. With Barrie Sullivan. From the A149 between Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea, turn north towards the sea (signed NOA Watchpoint / NWT Reserve). After half a mile and just before a block with the only available toilets turn right onto very rough mile-long track: go slowly! Park (small charge to non-NWT members) on left near ‘The Firs’ (white house with NWT Visitor Centre). Bring a picnic. Light snacks available to buy. In the event of bad weather, phone Barrie on 01953 602616 before 8.30a.m.to check if the meeting is going ahead
